MILITARY : William F. Louisignont

William F. Lousignont, son of Joseph and brother of Eunice Lousignont Delaney, joined Confederate Co. F, 1st Missouri Cavalry, as a private. He joined on 28 Dec 1861 the MO 1st Cav. Co.F (ultimately becomes the 1st Regiment Missouri Cavalry). He was captured in Vicksburg July 4,1863, and paroled. He died 16 Jul 1864 from a wound in knee received at Kennesaw/Atlanta, GA.
